Community Response for Social Development(CRSD)is  a Refugee led community based organization located in Pagirinya settlement, in Pagirinya village , Logoangwa parish ,Dzaipi sub-county in Adjumani district., is a nonprofit , non- denomination,  Nonpolitical and nonsectarian organization that was formed in 2017.Rural focus CRSD was Founded by community welfare minded people with  an aim of empowering the refugee and host communities in the fight against poverty ,address human rights related abuses and revive positive cultural/traditional norms or values in the settlement, unemployment, teenage marriages and pregnancies, diseases spread through information and training .The Organization is run by competent staff members under the stewardship of a board of trustees.

Objectives

  • Build capacity of women in life skills so that they educate others on the dynamics of the projects.
  • Advocate for women and youths in economic development and social welfare.
  • To improve the health of refugees and host communities by addressing issues that under mind their good health and creating awareness of disease and poor sanitation.
  • To strengthen the voices of young people at risk of early child marriage and pregnancies and their rights in settlement.
  • To promote formal education, vocational training and life skills to refugees and host communities to help them cope up with life challenges.
  • Advocate for the rights of youths and women in the community.
